JASC Internship Opportunity

Japan America Society of Chicago Internship Opportunity

The Japan America Society of Chicago is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to bring together the peoples of Japan and the U.S. through business, cultural, social, public affairs and educational related programming. JASC hosts 50+ events a year including evening cultural lectures, business luncheons and dinners, performances and network socials.

JASC has internship availabilities throughout the year for students who have an interest in the Japanese language and/or culture. All levels of Japanese are welcome to apply. Internships are unpaid, however interested interns can register for complimentary evening Japanese language classes at the Society during the duration of their internship.

Interns assist with basic office duties, coordination of all PR efforts including maintaining the JASC website and weekly email blasts, assisting with day of event logistics, and assisting Director of Administration & Logistics with special projects.

If you are interested in an internship please email Erika V Kono, Director of Administration & Logistics at kono@jaschicago.org to set-up an interview.
