Movie Event!

"Part comedy, part drama, I Am a Monk is a fantastic film. Riotously funny in parts and devastatingly sad in others, it is one of those rare movies that will make audiences feel both enlightened and entertained after viewing."
-Geek Ireland
Asian Pop-Up Cinema presents I Am a Monk, a Japanese film with English subtitles about a young man who becomes the abbot of a Buddhist temple. The director, Yukinori Makabe, will be appearing live for a special Q/A after both screenings of the film.
